Emily Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor working primarily with children, adolescents and their families. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from University of Wyoming and an Associate of Science in Addictionology from Casper College. Emily uses Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral approaches to therapy which allows her to structure treatment plans and goals to fit each client's individual needs. Some specific techniques that she uses include Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Art Therapy. Emily holds certifications from Adapting Trauma-Focused Treatment for Culturally Diverse Populations, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Psychological First Aid Online, and TeleHealth. She has also received training in Teen Addictions Anonymous and will soon be adding a certification in Love and Logic Parenting to her services.
Outside of work, Emily spends times with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. They grew up in Wyoming and love all things outdoors - fishing, hiking, and camping are on top of that list. Outside of what beautiful Wyoming has to offer, her heart belongs to the east coast. Growing up, Emily spent her summers there and came to love the ocean with her extended family.
Emily is passionate about normalizing mental health issues and helping parents and children reach their mental health goals.
